The Honda Civic Type R is a front wheel drive motor vehicle, with the engine located in the front, and a 3 door hatchback body. The Honda Civic Type R's engine is a turbocharged petrol, 2 litre, double overhead camshaft 4 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder. This unit has an output of 306 bhp (310 PS/228 kW) of power at 6500 rpm, and maximum torque of 400 N·m (295 lb·ft/40.8 kgm) at 2500-4500 rpm.
