MidPond Raceway and Events Complex was originally built in 2007 as a Shifter Kart Track. The Property was eventually purchased by a local business man for his kids to have their own private playground
Ken Martin took charge of the track in 2017. He brings a lifelong passion for motorsports and a commitment to build and nurture the grassroots community in the Southeast
MidPond is a 12 curve, 1/2 mile Road Course nestled in the woods of Shelby County, Alabama just off interstate 65 between Alabaster and Columbiana. Surrounded by the lush background of the forest, looking over the calm waters of the pond from the spacious and comfortable back porch, MidPond feels like a home away from home.
